RezistMU Server Rules

I. Account Agreement

By registering on RezistMU, you agree to the following:

• All information related to your account(s) is property of RezistMU.
• We are NOT responsible for the security of your account name and password. Players must take strong measures to protect their accounts. Never enter your RezistMU login details on any non-official website. DO NOT share your login information or personal details. If you share your details, you risk losing items and your account. Any consequences are at your own risk.
• Any problems arising from sharing your account(s), passwords, or personal information in Internet cafés, public computers, or through third-party tools are the sole responsibility of the account owner. RezistMU will not provide support for issues caused by account sharing or negligence.
• DO NOT log in to other users’ accounts. In case of account/hardware penalties, your computer may be affected as well if you use shared accounts/devices. This also applies to Internet cafés, schools, and libraries. We do NOT provide support to users using VPN/proxy/hide-IP tools or suspicious third-party software.
  
  Multi-account policy: Maximum connected accounts at the same time: 3. Maximum accounts per person: 5. Abusive farming (e.g., leaving more than 3 accounts offlevel/offtrade online) is not allowed and may result in penalties. Our systems may monitor unusual account creation or spam behavior; abusing registrations can lead to account deletion and temporary IP restriction.
• Names (Character Names / IGN and Guild Names) must NOT contain Administrator/GM names or attempt to imitate staff.
• You may not impersonate or present yourself as RezistMU staff/management. If caught posing as an Admin or GM, you will be permanently banned.

II. Donations, Store Credits and Refunds

Donation rewards / credits (if available) can be used for RezistMU services such as webshop items, VIP features, cosmetics, in-game services, or other official offerings. RezistMU Administrator(s) and GM(s) will NOT be held responsible for any lost / disappeared / missing / stolen items, regardless of cause. We will NEVER replace or refund lost items, currencies, or progress. This includes (but is not limited to): Donations, Items, Seals, WCoin, Ruud, Credits, Levels, VIP, Hide, and services.

III. Digital Products and Services

RezistMU does not issue refunds for digital products and services once an order is submitted and delivered/activated. If you encounter issues with delivery or functionality, contact support as soon as possible and we will assist where we can. By purchasing any product and/or service from RezistMU, you acknowledge and agree that transactions are final. We do not accept chargeback abuse, partial refund requests, or full refund demands under normal circumstances. If you have questions regarding policies, contact support before making a purchase.

IV. Hacking, Cheating and Scamming

• Any hacks, cheats, exploits, or malicious tools that compromise RezistMU (game server, community, files, client, patches) will result in permanent penalties (account / hardware / IP), depending on severity.
• Abusing server bugs, automation, credit/vote exploits, ranking manipulation, duping, or any type of cheating will receive severe penalties, including permanent bans.
• Scamming involving buy/sell/trade/offtrade or misleading players to steal items/currency will result in a permanent ban.

V. Advertising

• Advertising or mentioning other MU servers, private communities, or non-affiliated rankings is not allowed on RezistMU platforms (Discord, Facebook, forum, in-game chat). If you are invited to promote or join another MU server, report it. Assisting or encouraging advertising may result in permanent penalties.
• Advertising non-gaming servers/websites or adult content is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent bans.

VI. Accessory to Rule Breaking

Anyone assisting a rule breaker (on Discord, forum, social platforms, or in-game) may also receive penalties. Example: warning someone to hide items/avoid staff investigation, assisting real-money trading, or spreading exploit methods can lead to permanent bans.

VII. Respect the Server and Staff

• Personal attacks, harassment, or targeted negativity toward RezistMU staff will not be tolerated. Penalties may include character bans, account bans, and permanent IP/hardware restrictions.
• Challenging staff decisions through harassment or public disruption is not tolerated. Staff decisions are final.
• Staff may lock/delete posts or content they deem irrelevant, harmful, or disruptive at their discretion.
• Public discussions of staff actions are not allowed across RezistMU platforms (Discord/forum/in-game). Use private support channels/tickets if you need to appeal.
• Staff may suspend/block characters or accounts for investigation as a precaution.
• Staff may take necessary action for the benefit and safety of the community.

VIII. Free Play Server

RezistMU is a FREE PLAY private server. We do things differently than official servers. If you dislike the game, settings, or community environment, you are free to leave. The interpretation of these rules is solely up to RezistMU management, and rules can change at any time without notice. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask staff or avoid it.

IX. In-Game Playing Rules

• This is a full PvP server — you can PK/KS as the game allows, unless an event/map rule states otherwise.
• Be polite. Respect all players even if they are your enemies — good enemies make a good game.
• Hate speech, racism, and real-life threats are strictly prohibited.
• Bad Language Rule Enforcement:
  • 1st Warning – Reminder / possible mute (depending on severity).
  • 2nd Warning – Character ban for 3 days.
  • 3rd Warning – Account ban for 7 days.
  • 4th Warning – Permanent ban (may include IP/Hardware).
  RezistMU staff reserves the right to escalate penalties faster in extreme cases (severe racism, targeted harassment, threats).
• We can compensate lost event rewards caused by confirmed server-side bugs only when the player provides clear proof (screenshots/videos) and logs support the claim. Not all cases are eligible.
• Selling accounts/items for real money (or external currency such as cryptocurrency/vouchers) is prohibited and will be punished.
• Trading must be done through official in-game systems and recognized in-game currencies (e.g., WCoinC, Ruud, Zen, Goblin Points), where applicable. Attempted real-money trading may result in account deletion.

X. Vote Abuse

Using multiple accounts to vote to gain unfair rewards is prohibited. Vote abuse may result in removal/reset of vote rewards/credits and additional penalties depending on severity. Please respect the vote reward system.

XI. Automated Detection and Punishment

RezistMU may use automated systems to detect suspicious behavior (e.g., multi-account abuse, vote abuse, exploit patterns) based on technical identifiers (such as IP/device patterns) and activity frequency. Accounts may be flagged, restricted, or suspended for investigation. No system is perfect, so appeals can be submitted through official support channels.

XII. Account Security

RezistMU is not responsible for stolen accounts, lost information, or hacking/scam losses caused by user negligence. Protect your account with strong passwords, do not share accounts, avoid suspicious tools, and use only official links.
